Description

The paint’s coverage ability means that only a small amount of paint is needed to make a significant difference. Thanks to its thicker consistency, the paint allows you to create various surfaces such as smooth, rough, patterned, or textured. Each paint can comes with a sanding sponge that you can use on the paint after it has dried and cured for 24 hours. Sanding the paint provides a more varied and lively look, allowing you to add as much depth and color variation as you desire. The more you sand the paint, the more the color variations will emerge. Concrete color is manufactured in Denmark by a producer with over 100 years of experience and a tradition of quality. The paint is water-based and has a mild, virtually nonexistent odor.

Concrete color is perfect for painting items such as:

  • Pots, urns, and vases
  • Side tables
  • Canvases
  • Lamp bases
  • Decorative bowls
  • Candle holders
  • Pedestals
  • Christmas and Easter decorations
  • And more – let your creativity flow!

How much paint does a can contain?
A can contains 250 ml of paint. To provide an estimate of how long a can of paint will last, you can count on approximately two to three projects – for example, repainting a lamp base, an urn, and a decorative bowl. For larger projects, such as a side table, approximately one can of paint may be needed. Keep in mind that these are only estimates, and you may need to use more or less paint than expected.

Does Concrete color withstand water, and can it be used outdoors?
The paint can tolerate a certain amount of water and dirt. If you need to clean your painted item, we recommend gently cleaning it with water and a soft scrubbing brush – and then allowing it to air dry. Concrete color is primarily intended for indoor use, but since the paint can withstand some water and dirt (but not frost), it’s fine to place painted items outdoors during the summer months. Note! If you are painting on glass, you should avoid placing the painted object outdoors during rainy weather. Also, exercise extra caution when cleaning a glass painted object.

Application of the paint
Concrete color is multifunctional when it comes to application and results. Different tools yield different outcomes, and each tool on its own can create different effects. The paint is best applied with a putty knife, sponge, or brush. You can always sand the paint after it has dried and cured for 24 hours; sanding results in more color variations and a clearer texture. One sanding sponge is always included per can of paint.

Additional information
Drying time approximately 2 hours. Fully cured and sandable after approximately 24 hours. Does not withstand frost. Clean tools with water after use. Water-based. It is not necessary to prime with primer.

Safety & environment
The paint contains C(M)IT/MIT (3:1) and BIT. It may cause an allergic reaction.
